So this is something that's been driving me nuts for the past year or so, mostly because it's just the stupidest shit ever:

Why are there certain people who are against porn, fanservice, and hentai but they are also strongly pro-sex work?

Example A: Radical feminists who are completely against porn and want it banned. But somehow, when it concerns only the women who participate in porn, suddenly the conversation shifts to how it's empowering and fulfilling, and how it's a very valid career that shouldn't have an ounce of shame to it.

Example B: Obnoxiously hyper progressive gamer nerds seem to have routine shit fits over certain video games with sexualized big booba female characters. But when the topic of a sexy woman who cosplays said characters arises, the people are either completely silent in shame about it, or somehow okay with it all.

Both are real examples I've seen online, and several times at that.

I just don't get it. It's just so fucking dumb. To me, it's either one or the other. Either you're a based person who enjoys sexy women being sexy in these mediums, or you're at least consistent in being a prude in that you hate all of it. None of this fucking pathetic, wishy-washy, two-faced, "Well hurr durr, I hate sexy women in games and I hate porn, but I will absolutely white knight for a onlyfans-promoting-twitch-streamer showing her naked butt on camera! Durrrrrr!"

I know this is a dead forum but perhaps some people could potentially enlighten me further on this subject.

I think hey just view fictional women as ai art cheats while antis view only fans and feminists as real hard working artists. Oh and it's over for them when they reach a certain age while an artists' art and skills lives longer.

How these ppl are forgetting their twitter likes are public, is what baffles me.

My working theory was that it's not the exact same people. You say that you've seen Example A, a person doing both of these without questioning themselves? That's surprising.

I just… think it's overcompensating ? Well, in some cases anyway, like sure the whole bikini armor trend is bonkers but… harmless, well for the most part but that's like with everything…

So yeah some people got tired of 1 extreme and got to the other to try and balance it but as always (or almost) extremes are just bad

As for real stuff, I think it's the same kinda, so many people exploited for money so… yeah

So what I'm trying to say is it's not that much about the end product but how it's made… or if it looks ridiculous like bikini armors seriously what's up with that, that's not even an armor at that point
